With Hablamos Juntos, our university consortium helped to review, revise, and add to SEGD’s official set of international hospital wayfinding symbols. My individual contribution included 5 fully-developed symbols submitted for user testing and inclusion in the final set, with far-reaching communication implications.

The French Hospital Medical Center rebranding was a chance to apply the symbol set to a working hospital system. This enhanced wayfinding system works to lead people around the hospital effectively.
